Circulation/Borrowing Policies:
Students | Faculty | Other Patrons

Most holders of valid HELIN IDs, with accounts in good standing, have access and borrowing privileges at the PC Library. This includes: Faculty, Staff, Undergraduate and Graduate students of HELIN institutions. HELIN ID holders can check out most books. Other other material may be used in the library building. Videos and Special Collections materials do not circulate. There is limited computing for non-PC patrons. All public printers now require authentication or a Guest Card. Visitors are not able to use the wireless network at this time. Please see our Computer and Printer Use Policies for more information.

Borrowing policies:* HELIN patrons may borrow up to 30 items for about a month. These are usually renewable twice online or in person. There may be charges if material is not returned promptly. Charges accrued at the Providence College Library may be transferred to your HELIN Library and/or Bursar account.

For more information about the Providence College Library, please see our Hours and Library Usage Policies pages.

*Borrowing periods and charges may vary.
