PML offers a wide range of video content including documentaries, award winning films, theater performances, interviews, demonstrations, news programs, and more to support your course of study here at Providence College. 

Alexander Street Press is our major hub for academic video. All videos are integrated into the library catalog and appear in search results from the main search box. Read on to explore the range of collections through Alexander Street Press.

 Academic Video Online covers a variety of subject areas and is a great place to start general searches. Content includes resources from BBC, PBS, A+E Networks, and more, including 18,000+ exclusive films. 

Filmmakers Online Library is a collection of documentaries across disciplines, highlighting critical issues, notable figures, and diverse cultures. 

History and political science majors will benefit from exploring American History in Video and World History in Video, collections which document and critically examine key historic moments in our country and the world. 

A great resource for our theater, dance, & film students, Dance in Video contains performances from dance companies worldwide, showcasing dance styles from ballet to modern dance. In addition, explore visuals for technical proficiency or interviews with choreographers and performers for behind-the-scenes insight.
