NYT & WSJ Subscription
The Phillips Memorial Library is pleased to announce partnerships with the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times that provide complimentary subscriptions for all current faculty, students and staff at Providence College.
Wall Street Journal:
Students, faculty and staff at Providence College can activate their subscriptions by visiting the Wall Street Journal, logging into the PC portal, and creating an account on the registration page.
If you already have a personal paid subscription, please call the WSJ at 1-800-JOURNAL (1-800-568-7625) to cancel it and request a pro-rated refund before signing up for an account through the library.
New York Times:
To create an account, please visit: the New York Times in Education and follow the prompts. If you are off campus, you will need to select the “Go” button.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Your Academic Pass must be renewed every year.
- If you have an existing unpaid NYT account set up with your @providence.edu email address, click “Already have an account? Log in here” and log in with your existing NYT username and password. This will tie your existing username and password to the Providence College Academic Pass.
- If you have an existing paid NYT account associated with your @providence.edu email account, you will need to cancel it first, before it can be associated with the Providence Academic Pass (following the same process above). To cancel contact customer care at the NYT: customercare@nytimes.com or 800-591-9233. As soon as your paid subscription is cancelled, the username will be available to associate with the Providence College Academic Pass.
