Staff Spotlight: Peter
What is your day to day like?
As Head of Research and Education and an Associate Professor, I end up doing a bit of everything having to do with assisting PC students, faculty, and staff in the discovery of high quality information for their work.
What is your favorite library activity?
My favorite library activity is searching for books in E-Book Central, there are lot of interesting books we have access to.
What is your favorite part of working at the library?
My favorite part of working at the library is getting to work with students on research projects.
A fun fact about me is I lived in Tanzania for several years in the 1990s and drove a Land Rover there.
My knowledge of Swahili is pretty rusty these days.

What do you do for fun?
I spend my time gaming, reading military history, and listening to music that I’m really too old to be listening too!
What is something most students don’t know about the library?
That we have research guides, providence.libguides.com/home, that we’ve created to assist students with their work
