Welcome to Our New Homepage Design!
We’re excited to introduce a fresh new look for the Phillips Memorial Library website! Our redesigned homepage aims to improve your experience with a cleaner layout, easier navigation, and improved access to the resources you rely on most.
What’s Changed?
As part of this update, you may have noticed that the Quicklinks section has been retired. But don’t worry — the tools and resources you depend on are still here and easier to access than ever. Here’s how to find them:
- New York Times, Wall Street Journal & The Atlantic Subscription: Access these major publications via the “Resources” tab.
- Current Providence Journal Issues: Also available under the “Resources” tab or bookmark our News Sources Research Guide.
- Academic Integrity & Copyright: Guidance is available under the “Resources” tab for best practices and helpful resources.
- Printing: Information about printing services can be found under the “Services” tab or on PC’s iHelp website.
- Faculty Request Purchase or Delivery: Faculty members can submit requests via the “Services” tab. Scroll down to “Services for Faculty”
- Interlibrary Loan (ILL): You’ll find this under the “Services” tab.

Our New Editorial Feature
We’re also excited to introduce a new editorial feature where we’ll regularly share updates about new resources, services, and even some fun content about the library! Stay tuned for articles highlighting the latest library offerings, helpful tips, and interesting stories from our community.
Why the Change?
Our goal was to streamline the experience for all users, making it easier to locate what you need without overwhelming you with links and clutter. We’ve prioritized clear pathways to key resources, better mobile responsiveness, and an overall improved look and feel.
We Value Your Feedback
Your input helps us refine and improve our site. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out via our Ask a Librarian service.
We hope this redesign makes your library experience even better. Happy researching!
